"Air and Light" — my most personal series

Dear friends,
I’d love to share with you a series of works called "Air and Light" — one of the most meaningful and delicate stories I’ve created so far.

This series is about silence, about light that doesn’t blind but embraces. About air — invisible, yet always present. I wasn’t trying to depict objects; I was trying to capture a feeling. Something spacious, still, and almost weightless. These works are not about form — they are about presence.

While creating this series, I chose to work in a medium that allowed for more lightness and transparency. Layer by layer, I built each piece in an environment where color and light could breathe freely — where I could shape emotion more than matter.

In the cultural heart of Greece, Athens, contemporary artist Stefanos Rokos presents "Two Temples"—a mesmerizing fusion of Greek artistry and Japanese mysticism. Inspired by his journey to Japan, Rokos reinterprets mythology and religious customs through his distinctive visual language.

The exhibition runs from April 7 to May 7 at the Zoumboulakis Gallery in Kolonaki Square, Athens.
