As far back as I can , I have always had brushes in my hands, then the discovery of watercolor about twenty-five years ago, reinforced my creative approach..... Successive workshops with master watercolorists, (Cao bei an, Wen ming xin, Joelle Krupa Astruc, Roland Palmaerts, Eric Laurent, Marc Folly and David Poxon and Janine Gallizia ...........) Strengthened by these lessons, I set off on a personal journey, in search of the expression that characterizes me...... the work is diligent and ionate..... fascinated by the effects of raw material or eroded by time, as well as by somewhat unusual subjects, I try to put into my watercolors the emotion that I felt in real time .... The atmospheres are also an important element ......... Everything can be painted, it is the treatment of the subject that matters, and which generates an emotion. However, I refuse to remain locked into a single style, and I am constantly tempted to explore new avenues.
I am fascinated by wet watercolor, its incidents that become opportunities, the granulation of certain pigments, its superimposed washes without losing its transparency of course.
The free and spontaneous treatment of this medium opens up infinite possibilities.
