Audrey Steiner, artiste plasticienne, base sa démarche sur la réutilisation de matériaux industriels pour explorer la relation entre matière et perception. Elle récupère des blocs de polyéthylène destinés au recyclage, dont les formes aléatoires et les mélanges de couleurs uniques deviennent la source de ses sculptures appelées "artblocks". Son processus artistique interroge la matière en la transformant pour rendre visible l'invisible. Ces blocs, une fois manipulés ou associés dans des compositions comme des cairns ou des séries telles que « Mirage » et « Rorschach revisité », invitent à une interprétation personnelle du spectateur. Audrey Steiner joue également avec le phénomène de paréidolie, où des images familières émergent des formes abstraites.
