Born in into a family vibrant with artistry, I often joke that my first “bottle” wasn’t filled with milk but with color. Growing up surrounded by creativity, I was influenced from an early age by my grandfather, a professional painter, and my aunt, known for her enchanting gouache works. With art flowing through our household, I eagerly picked up a brush, painting at every opportunity. My most audacious moments included transforming the walls of our home into colorful canvases, much to my parents' delight.

While my family hoped I would follow a traditional path in the art world, my inner curiosity led me in another direction. I decided to study physics, gravitating toward photonics—the science of light. This choice may have surprised many, but it felt like a calling rooted in my desire for experimentation. Physics provided the framework for understanding the very nature of light that I found so mesmerizing. I reveled in how different wavelengths of light could interact with color, texture, and form, ultimately enriching my artistic practice.

Painting never took a backseat to my studies; instead, it became a harmonious extension of my scientific exploration. Each stroke of color on my canvas became an opportunity to experiment with different materials and light conditions. My paintings evolved into a dynamic interplay of color and texture, echoing discoveries I made in my physics coursework.

Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, I embarked on a journey across Europe, immersing myself in numerous art academies. This quest allowed me to learn from varied artistic traditions and philosophies and helped me build a diverse foundation in art over the last 45 years. Düsseldorf, renowned as the art capital of , became my base alongside my sojourns to India. Here, I relished the chance to connect with fellow artists, sharing ideas, techniques, and stories in an atmosphere bustling with inspiration.

In contrast to many artists who adhere strictly to a single style, I find excitement in blending multiple influences within my work. My physics background informs my artistic process, pushing me to explore new styles and techniques. Living a life rich in adventure, my friends often describe me as quirky and funny, and I work to ensure this exuberance spills over into my art. Every piece serves as an invitation to viewers to embrace joy, creativity, and positivity.

Among the many artists who have inspired me, Pablo Picasso stands out for his bold reinventions of style, while Wassily Kandinsky’s geometric shapes captivate my imagination. I also deeply ire Gerhard Richter, whose ongoing contributions to contemporary art continue to impress me. Their legacies resonate within me, encouraging me to push boundaries and take risks in my artistic expressions.

Today, as I stand at the intersection of art and science, I remain dedicated to exploring the endless possibilities that lie ahead.
