Carlos Asensio is a contemporary Spanish artist born in Castelló in 1986. He began his artistic training at an early age under the guidance of Cuban artist Amaury Suárez. Carlos is currently a PhD candidate in Fine Arts and holds a Master's in Artistic Production from the Universitat Politècnica de València. He also completed a Studio Program at the Berlin Art Institute, where he had the opportunity to learn from renowned artists such as Bernhard Martin, Larissa Fassler, Nikola Röthemeyer, and the collective known as Various & Gould. His research endeavors have led him to participate in various international university conferences and publish in esteemed humanities journals, including Human Review and Peter Lang.

Carlos has an impressive exhibition record that includes several solo exhibitions at notable venues, such as the Centro de Arte Tomás y Valiente in Fuenlabrada, the Museo Municipal de Albacete, and Centro 14 in Alicante. He has also participated in numerous collective exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Noteworthy collective exhibitions include Ciclamen at Galería Léucade in Murcia, a collaborative project at DXIX Projects in Fort Collins, and two editions of Open Studios at GlogauAIR, along with BAAM#3 at Monopol Berlin. His works were featured in the traveling exhibition Atlas del Arte Español, which toured locations such as the Sala de Exposiciones de la Junta Municipal de a, Sala Mauro Muriendas in Torrelavega, and the Centro Cultural O Vello Cárcere in Lugo.

Carlos has also exhibited with the Infinity Art project at various art fairs, including the Affordable Art Fair in Amsterdam, Art Madrid, and Estampa in Madrid. Additional collective exhibitions include 2019_n3 at the Piramidón Centre D´Art Contemporani in Barcelona, the Art Spring 2019 event in Berlin, six editions of the Marte Feria Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo in Castelló, the III Bienal de las Artes Ciutat Vella Oberta in Valencia, and the II Convocatoria de La New Fair in Madrid.

His works are included in important private collections, such as the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) and Piramidón Centre D´Art Contemporani in Barcelona, as well as the Museo Arte Contemporanea Sicilia (MACS) in Catania. Public institutions housing his work include the Museu de la Ciutat de Castelló (MUCC). Additionally, Carlos's art is present in collections across Spain, Portugal, Italy, , the Netherlands, Sweden, , Belgium, and the United States, reflecting his growing recognition in the contemporary art scene.
