Petits Eléphants de Nuit (2017) Printmaking by Charlotte Reine

Born in 1954, she works in Paris and the Dordogne; exhibits in and Europe in around fifteen galleries (including my Galerie du Faune in Antibes).

She works several techniques including etching. The copper plates are etched with nitric acid then inked by hand, often with luminous colors before being printed in limited edition on a hand press.

I am dedicated to , for several years, to the subjective study of the animal world, and the objects which are essential to them.

Driven by no concern for plausibility, I work without any real method. However, luck made me make some astonishing discoveries which I illustrate with paintings and engravings.
