When I first saw the artwork titled "Meditation or Loud Silence," I was immediately drawn in. The title itself seemed to be a paradox that made me think. In a world that is often characterized by noise and hustle and bustle, where the constant buzz of notifications and conversations surrounds us, the question arises: what does it really mean to be in silence?

I moments in my life when I tried to calm down. I often sat in a room surrounded by people talking to each other while I searched for peace within myself. This "loud silence" was a constant companion for me. I wanted to meditate, focus on my breathing and calm my thoughts, but the noises around me seemed to keep pulling me out of my inner world.

Herein lies the contradiction: meditation is often described as a state of inner calm and peace, while the "loud silence" embodies the feeling of restlessness and distraction. How can one truly meditate amidst the noise? Is it possible to maintain a clear mind in a world full of distractions? These questions led me to a deeper philosophical reflection on the nature of silence and noise.

Art has the ability to reflect such contradictions and make us think. It forces us to recognize the duality of our experiences. In meditation, we seek clarity while simultaneously being influenced by the world around us. This tension between inner peace and external noise is not just a personal dilemma, but a universal human experience.

Philosophy often discusses how to find meaning in a chaotic world. Art offers us a space to explore these questions. It invites us to accept the contradictions and recognize that both meditation and loud silence are part of our existence. Perhaps it is precisely this duality that makes us human - the ability to find a moment of silence amidst the noise and vice versa.

I invite you to reflect on your own experiences. How do you deal with the "loud silence" in your life? Do you find moments of meditation in the midst of chaos? Let's reflect together on the contradictions that affect us all and how art can help us understand them.

My works reflect a profound visual narrative as the invisible is revealed in the visible. This creates a strong sense of symbolism while conveying a universal message. My photographs are characterized by a dynamic sense of texture and powerful, visceral forms.

I use photography and the software Photoshop to create my works. I arrange various everyday objects into a still life. The combination of photography and Photoshop creates a contradiction between reality and fantasy. Is photography a representation of perception or depicted reality? How do people perceive reality with their senses and how is it captured by the camera? Images of objects have a similar character to our perception of them, because visual perception is a depiction of reality.
