Cyril Harris, a contemporary American painter, has dedicated himself to his art despite the constraints of a busy schedule. Rising at 5:30 am each morning before work, Cyril carved out precious hours to devote to his craft. His commitment paid off when he was awarded several art scholarships for painting at Houston's Glassell art school, a testament to the quality of work he produced.

Although Cyril's artistic journey was initially hindered by time constraints, retirement has afforded him the opportunity to fully immerse himself in his ion. With newfound freedom, Cyril is gaining confidence and honing the skills necessary to master his art.

While much of Cyril's work revolves around themes related to the African American experience, he believes that this perspective is often underrepresented in the art world. Drawing from his own life and experiences, Cyril infuses his paintings with depth and authenticity, offering a unique and compelling glimpse into his world.
