Luc Pallegoix was born in 1969 in Besançon, , emigrated to Quebec in 2003, set up his studio in Estrie in 2006, and became Canadian in 2020. In the meantime, he distinguished himself as a Master of Letters, producer in contemporary dance, creator for young people, and photographer of men with deer heads, which earned him considerable fame. Once a sensitive young man from a good family, the artist has always embroidered in the old-fashioned way, samplers, fireplace screens or toe caps. By emigrating, he telescoped his cultures of origin with his received cultures, and just as he hybridized them, they hybridized him.
