Severino Braccialarghe is a contemporary Italian sculptor. His work in architecture, interior design, and decoration was followed after his 1970 immigration to South Africa in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Swaziland. He started his new career as a sculptor while attending the Ruth Prowse Academy in Cape Town in 1980/81.
Braccialarghe started a series of "functional art" or furnishings in 1992 made of solid wood, aluminum, and glass that he exhibits with his sculptures in various exhibitions. His original mini-wild life bronze statues of African fauna, which he personally molded in wax and then melted in goldsmiths to create unique pieces, first appeared in 2006.
