" I love walks in the forest, by the sea. I ire the landscapes of my region, the flowers that surround me. And I also want to convey my love of nature to the spectators"...

What inspired you to create artwork and become an artist? (events, feelings, experiences...)

I grew up in a family of artists and I always ired my grandfather's paintings.

What is your artistic background, the techniques and subjects you have experimented with to date?

I've loved drawing since I was a child. But after school, I started doing commercial work. And just in 2017, I picked up my paintbrushes again.
I tried drawing with a pencil, then with oil paint. My favorite subject is nature! I prefer landscapes and flowers. They inspire me the most.

What are the 3 aspects that differentiate you from other artists, making your work unique?

So, in my life, I practice the Reiki yoga system. And when I start painting, I charge them with Reiki energy.

Where does your inspiration come from?

My inspiration comes from nature.

What is your artistic approach? What visions, sensations, or feelings do you want to evoke in the viewer?

I love walks in the forest, by the sea. I ire the landscapes of my region, the flowers that surround me. And I also want to convey my love of nature to the spectators.

What is the creative process of your works? Spontaneous or with a long preparatory process (technique, inspiration from art classics or other)?

The process of creating landscapes usually always occurs spontaneously. And to paint flowers using the photorealism technique, I took private lessons, because it is a completely different technique.

Do you use a particular working technique? If so, can you explain it?

No, I use classical techniques.

Are there any innovative aspects to your work? Can you tell us what they are?

I don't know if these are innovative aspects or not, but I want my flowers in the paintings to look like real flowers.

Do you have a format or medium that you are most comfortable with? If so, why?

Not particularly. No, I'm comfortable painting in different formats.

Where do you produce your work? At home, in a shared studio, or in your own studio? And within this space, how do you organize your creative work?

I paint pictures at home. I've specially set up a room as a studio.

Does your job require you to travel to meet new collectors, for trade fairs or exhibitions? If so, what does it bring you?

Yes, of course. I participate in exhibitions whenever possible. It gives me more positive moments. I like to observe the spectators who look at and give on my work.

How do you imagine the evolution of your work and your career as an artist in the future?

I am not a professional artist, I am an amateur. But I really enjoy this activity. When I paint a picture, I do not see time ing. I am in the present moment here and now! And, of course, I will be happy if my work is appreciated. This will give me the strength to continue painting with more pleasure and enthusiasm.

What is the theme, style or technique of your latest artistic production?

These are the flowers I love: peonies. I use the photorealism technique to paint them.

Can you tell us about your most important exhibition experience?

This was the last exhibition of November 2024, which took place in my hometown of Clermont. It lasted an entire month. The theme of this exhibition was Impressionism. Four of the six works I submitted were selected.

If you could create one famous work in the history of art, which would you choose? And why?

Honestly, I don't know.

If you could invite any famous artist (dead or alive) to dinner, who would it be? How would you suggest they spend the evening?

An artist I ire is Leonardo da Vinci. He's not just an artist with a capital L!! He was also a great scientist. I think it would be very interesting to talk to such a person, and time would fly by while we were talking.
