Dans la mythologie grecque, Éphialtès ou Éphialte (en grec ancien Ἐφιάλτης / Ephiáltês, « cauchemar ») est un Géant, fils de Gaïa (la Terre) et d'Ouranos (le Ciel) ou de Tartare (les Enfers) selon les versions. Il est tué lors de la Gigantomachie d'une flèche dans chaque œil, l'une décochée par Apollon, l'autre par Héraclès.

Etienne Frouin is a contemporary French artist. Frouin, who has been ionate about art for more than 30 years, is constantly nourished by artistic creations. He embarked on an adventure in 2014, after a few years of painting and drawing lessons, in order to debut his first metal works in 2015. His sculptures' main theme is a man, which is a universal and everlasting theme, and the medium is a wood for charcoal drawing. For the volume, circular iron bar of Ø 6, 8, and 10 minutes and sheet metal were bent, cut, arc welded, ground, and painted, even oxidized, to create "hollow" works.
