Eva Rouwens, Belgian, born in Antwerp

When I was little, I discovered my ion for painting and sculpture.
I will be an artist!
As a teenager, I won several prizes in visual arts competitions and took part in a group exhibition in Belgium.
After studying art in Antwerp, I left for Paris to learn engraving, particularly etchings, in the studio of the engraver Paul Franck.
Two years later, in Brazil, I took classes at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rio de Janeiro. Then other courses follow in Rio De Janeiro and in in Levallois-Perret.

Today I live and work in Lyon.

I participate in many group exhibitions in , Brazil and Belgium.
I do individual exhibitions in Paris, Nanterre, Rueil-Malmaison, Levallois-Perret, Ivry sur Seine, Saint Jean aux Bois, Anglet, Pérouges and many times in Lyon.

I have always had the taste and desire to create, to personalize my environment and to embellish our lives and our homes. Thanks to the mastery of the technique I have the freedom to create what I like. From the interest in others and people's feelings emerges a very lively world. I like to bring out atmospheres of softness and peace and give the viewer a feeling of tranquility. I seek to retain the moment, to bring to life a feeling, a moment of life or reverie. My works are both the fruit of my personality and my environment.
