Fabienne Borie is a contemporary French artist who seeks to express the melody of life through her art. In 2003, she began experimenting with various engraving techniques at the Beaux-Arts workshops in Montparnasse, Paris, where she discovered a profound ion for wood engraving. The intricate process of carving wood with gouges, inking, and printing under a press captivated her, as it required time and precision.
As her artistic journey progressed, Fabienne expanded her repertoire, drawing inspiration from her intuitions and projects. She experimented with a variety of techniques, including linocut, chiné-collé, monotypes, and mixed media. This exploration allowed her to remain closely connected to her inner world.
Fabienne translates her feelings and transforms her emotions into colors and shapes, bringing her unique vision of the world to life. Her work is akin to musical composition, as she joyfully delivers a visual melody for the eyes and the heart.
