"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

About the Artist
Filip Petrovic has painted the David Bowie Painting which you can see above. He is a local artist from Poreč, Croatia. Kruno started his painting career as a hobby when he was a young man. His first paintings were created on the streets with other older painters that were living and painting in Poreč during the 1980-ies. His primary artwork is mostly related to landscapes and seascapes of maritime cities in Croatia.
Technique used
The painting of David Bowie was created with a mixed palette of fresh oil paint. The artist used the brush technique and he managed to achieve great level of detail on the piece. The painting is stretched on a natural canvas set on a wooden back frame. The size of the canvas is 41 x 53 cm, which is around 16 x 21 inches. (We are not used to measure in inches in Croatia), The painting is also covered with a protective coat so it minimizes the risk of paint falling off.
Where to hang it?
David Bowie painting can actually fit in any room in your home, but for me personally I would hang it in my bedroom or living room. It really depends what is your taste and preference in paintings and in which way is your home decorated.
Ready to hang
We will send you the painting already set on the canvas and ready to hang. You don`t have to worry about that. You just need to secure a nice place on your wall for it. When the painting arrives, you just need to unwrap it and you can place it on the wall.
IMPORTANT INFO:

About the Artist
Filip Petrović, born and raised in a small coastal town called Poreč,
is a self taught painter and artist that has become well known for his work all across Europe. He started to explore painting as a hobby in his early twenties by doing landscape paintings of his hometown and other neighboring cities like Rovinj, Pula, Umag, Novigrad and Venice. When his friends and family saw his work, they encouraged him to display the paintings and offer them for sale to both tourists and locals.
Since he didn’t have a full degree of the Croatian Academy of Arts he was not able to organize exhibitions in galleries and museums. Therefore he had to figure out a different way to display his work.
One summer he decided to open up a small display stall on the walkway in the center of the old town. That was his first step to opening up and showing his paintings to the world. The response people had when seeing his first work of landscape and seascape paintings was very positive. People, both locals and tourists fell in love with his work. Kruno was lucky that his town Poreč was a big vacation spot for many people from European countries like England, , Italy and other.
In a few years he became very popular and people bought his paintings as gifts for their family and friends, as souvenirs from their vacation in Croatia and as home decor pieces and before he even knew it, his hobby and ion for painting became his profession. He tried several painting techniques and discovered that his best work was done with acrylic and oil paint. After mastering Croatian landscape and seascape paintings he started to paint people and portraits on demand. Check out our portrait section in case you want to see his work.
Below you will find a photo carousel of his first paintings which he has recreated several times.
