The ornate flourishes recall an era of craftsmanship, but here they are liquefied, corroded, no longer ornamental but oppressive, swallowing the figure rather than framing it.
The human presence is barely discernible, fragmented beyond recognition. Flesh and architecture collapse into one another, as if the subject has been absorbed by its surroundings, unable to define where the body ends and the environment begins. A face, or the suggestion of one, stares back through layers of interference—half ghost, half relic of a self lost in the echoes of its own dissolution.
