Ceramist, visual artist, Gaëlle Haubtmann
models clay and creates sculptures fired in the
wood-fired oven (long and specific cooking).
After a 5 year break to resume
studies and obtain the master's degree in art, his
work has opened up to other mediums such as
installations of recovered objects, the
performance, painting.
Travel and long stays abroad are his favorite
necessary. On several occasions, she had
the opportunity to work in Australia, Polynesia
French and in India and recently, 4 years in
Mexico following an artistic residency.
His artistic approach resembles a territory
where all his lines of experience intersect.
Her status as an artist, mother of two young people
children, irrigates his approach by putting into
tension of the content of a daily newspaper with
the organization of this daily life itself.
She walks, she picks up, she listens, she
observe, she gathers…
His work is at the crossroads of ecology,
of spiritual awakening and the world of colors.
She is inspired by Barbara Formis who talks about the
need to re-evaluate everyday life, source
of astonishment and aesthetic wonder.
To exhaust, to “use out” a place where it is brought to
reside or any other age space
nourishes the basis of her artistic approach. She
adapts and considers all information at
its scope, both in of material and level
energetic.

Brush strokes, roller marks, lines
pastels give rhythm to the canvas.
They overlap and thus reveal a certain
depth.
For Gaelle Haubtmann, colors burst forth
from a distant and mysterious country and their
dance is intense.
Every cell of his body awakens,

Breath of the captured world,
Precious moment.
She is currently presenting her paintings (acrylic,
pastel on prepared canvas), inspired by
the powerful energy of the cenotes, sacred places, of the
Yucatan (Mexico): these underground rivers
provide access to the underworld of the Mayans, where
sacrifices to the gods were made
