Hélène Mongin is a visual artist who lives and works in Haute-Garonne. She graduated from the Ecoles Supérieures d'Arts Appliqués Boulle and Duperré (BTS textile art), and obtained a degree in plastic arts from the Jean-Jaurès University of Toulouse in 2009.

Hélène Mongin experiments and practices different artistic mediums, including drawing and ink for her recent "imperceptible landscapes", monotype and engraving, as well as digital photography which she mixes with inks and various natural and chemical products since 2006. .

His artistic work questions the space and time of the image, as well as that of the subject, with a recurring mise en abyme. She is inspired by her living environment and atmospheric phenomena such as twilight lights, clouds, storms, etc. She approaches the landscape as well as the portrait as motifs, in painting as in photography.

Hélène Mongin uses multiple simultaneous points of view to give a representation on several different scales at the same time. His artistic approach is marked by a constant research on the perception of the image and its relation to space-time.
