Ibrahim Unal, born in 1963, lives and works in Türkiye. A self-taught artist, he explores various mediums such as acrylic on canvas, marker on paper, digital art, oil on canvas and watercolor on paper. His varied style includes abstraction, geometric abstraction, impressionism and surrealism. After graduating from the Faculty of Economic and istrative Sciences at ERU, Kayseri, Türkiye, in 1987, Ibrahim Unal worked in the banking sector for many years. Although he was always ionate about painting and drawing, his professional job did not allow him to devote himself fully to it.

It was not until 2014 that Ibrahim began painting in oils self-taught. An attentive observer, he discovered that the art of painting taught him to see the world through light and color. For him, the world is an infinite source of inspiration, and each painting, whether completed or in progress, represents a unique interpretation of life and its elements. Ibrahim Unal finds great satisfaction in the recognition and appreciation of his works. He describes an indescribable feeling when his creations are purchased and exhibited on the other side of the world. For him, being an artist often means loneliness, mental and physical fatigue, and sometimes, being misunderstood or ignored. However, he sees art as the common language of humanity, a way of communicating fragments of one's soul, body and thoughts.

With each work, Ibrahim touches raw materials and informs like a magician, infusing them with something of his essence. Art, according to him, entertains and sometimes pampers the artist, but above all, it is a means of sharing visions and emotions with the whole world.
