Ingrid Blaurock has been a ionate photographer since her youth. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Italy, she worked primarily as a translator, web designer and taught German in Bologna. In 2018, the now professional artist first discovered the rain effects on the windshield of her car and captured them photographically.
The macro photographs taken over the last few years show mysterious details that are barely perceptible to the naked eye: sharp structures as well as blurred views of a mirrored world, which are reproduced in a variety of ways by the immortalized water drops.
Ingrid Blaurock's work focuses primarily on these exciting reflections inside the drops. Impressions of unusual and often overlooked effects that emerge from the anonymity of fleeting appearances and become the main characters in her photographic works. Ingrid captures the unique moment in order to show the world she perceives from her own photographic perspective.
Her photographs are images of reality, which the artist presents as colorful and surreal microcosms, artfully composed. They are available as digital prints.
