This piece is inspired by those moments when we find stillness and allow ourselves to just breathe. The vibrant blues remind me of the sea, while the hints of gold add a touch of sunlight, warming the journey through this abstract maze. Painting this was like a meditative experience for me, and I hope it offers viewers a similar moment of calm—a place to let go, to follow the path without rush, and to enjoy the beauty of simplicity.

Irene Krup is an artist who creates unique works of art using a pen plotter.
Her love of art and technique began at an early age when she first picked up a paintbrush and began exploring the world of colors. Although Irene loved to paint and graduated from art school, she did not become a professional artist. For a long time, Irene worked in the field of numbers - she was a chief ant.
Over time, her path as an artist led Irene to discover new technologies that not only changed her approach to creativity, but also opened up many new opportunities for her. After moving to live in Slovakia, she first learned about the pen plotter. This machine, capable of drawing lines and patterns with precision and accuracy, instantly caught her attention. She saw in the pen plotter the ability to create unique works of art that would be impossible to do by hand.
One of Irene's favorite subjects was labyrinths. She began painting pictures of labyrinths in acrylic paint using a pen plotter. This technique allows her to create intriguing and intricate patterns that are not only mesmerizing in their beauty, but also invite the viewer to participate in this visual journey.
There are a total of 88 paintings in each labyrinth collection.
In her work, Iren expresses a philosophy centered on mindfulness and introspection. To her, art is an invitation to pause, to contemplate, and to connect more deeply with ourselves. Walking through one of her labyrinths, even with our eyes, becomes a journey of reflection. As she paints, she experiences a range of emotions—from a profound calm to moments of awe and reverence with each unfolding design. She believes that every viewer, like every labyrinth, carries something unique within, waiting to be discovered.
Each painting is a meeting place of art and philosophy, a reminder that our inner worlds are as vast and layered as the landscapes outside us. Through her acrylic labyrinths, Iren Krup hopes to offer her viewers a quiet space to look inward, to find their own answers and perhaps a new path they hadn’t seen before. In the future, Irene Krupp plans to continue experimenting with this amazing machine, creating new works that will amaze and inspire people around the world.
