It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Von den Möglichkeiten der digitalen Technologie seit Ende des letzten Jahrhunderts buchstäblich überrollt, experimentierte er seit den digitalen Anfängen mit Photoshop bis hin zur Bildgenerierung mit Künstlicher Intelligenz. KI-gestützt eröffnen sich ihm heute völlig neue kreative Wege. Er kann nun Bilder aus dem Nichts generieren, die jenseits der Grenzen üblicher Fotografie liegen – fantastische, traumhafte Szenen, und das in Kunststilen jeglicher Art.
Kürzlich entschied sich Jo Graetz, die Kamera beiseite zu legen und nur noch mit KI-Tools zu arbeiten. Für ihn ist das eine Befreiung von technischen Zwängen, zeitraubenden Vorbereitungen und eine Möglichkeit, seine Fantasie jederzeit und unlimitiert auszuleben. Er muss sie nur noch in Worte fassen. Seine Werke sind nun eine Mischung aus digitaler Kunst, Fotografie und algorithmischer Kreativität. Die KI erlaubt es ihm, komplexe, vielschichtige Bilder zu schaffen, die die Betrachtenden trotz weiterhin figurativer und fotorealistischer Darstellung, in eine teils völlig neuartige, bis hin zu einer surrealistischen Welt entführen.
