After the fine arts in Nimes and Toulouse, where the education did not quite suit me, I had the chance to meet Michel Pourteyron in Aix en Provence. He, a painter already known, but far from what he later became, encouraged me to continue painting, helped me, and above all allowed me to watch him paint during his creations. There I understood that learning was not necessarily done with teachers, but with painters. I had the chance to meet others later, my education was like that. I looked for my "style", then I painted, I painted, I painted, I made many reproductions of artists that I liked, to try to find "the thing" the color I did again and again. Until my painting hit the mark, at home first, then at people's homes. That's the beginning of the story, it was in 67/68
