URRACA (2019) Collages by Josefina Baumann Aubone

I'm a Graphic Designer Artist, had my degree from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Collage art is my ion! For me this technique started many years ago as a method from which I could take concepts and strategies in order to apply them to my graphic design work. I took photography lessons, embroidery classes and then illustration workshops with Artist Josefina Wolf. 

My evolution towards collage technique, for the last 8 years has become my today's priority and all my work is resumed in papers, textures, glues and scissors. I really enjoy cutting. Cutting graphic edges to give them a new meaning. I make abstract compositions which are inspired mostly by nature, the outdoors, and everyday life crossed by music. Music is endeed part of my creative process.
