🖋️ Descripción de la Obra
Obra excepcional y poco frecuente de la etapa temprana de Josep Puigdengolas Barella, realizada hacia finales de los años 1920. Perfil de mujer con blusa blanca no solo destaca por su refinada ejecución técnica, sino por la profunda carga emocional que emana de su silenciosa melancolía.
La figura femenina, representada de perfil, aparece envuelta en una atmósfera de luz dorada que baña el fondo con delicadeza. La elección del soporte —tabla— potencia la nitidez del trazo y la definición del rostro, revelando un cuidado extremo en cada pincelada. La sobriedad de la composición y la pureza cromática recuerdan ciertos retratos de corte simbolista, pero con una contención emocional más moderna y personal.
Estamos ante una pieza absolutamente singular dentro del corpus de Puigdengolas, que demuestra desde sus inicios un dominio precoz de la forma, la luz y la expresión. Por su belleza plástica, su rareza temática y su impecable estado de conservación, esta obra puede considerarse sin duda una pieza de museo, de gran valor tanto artístico como histórico dentro de la pintura catalana del primer tercio del siglo XX.
Josep Puigdengolas Barella (1906–1987) fue un destacado pintor catalán, conocido principalmente por su maestría en el paisaje mediterráneo, aunque su producción incluye también retratos, escenas de interior y naturalezas muertas de gran sensibilidad. Se formó con su padre, el pintor sc Puigdengolas, y en la Escola de Belles Arts de Barcelona. A lo largo de su vida, participó en numerosas exposiciones nacionales e internacionales, y su obra forma parte de prestigiosas colecciones públicas y privadas.
Esta pintura de juventud nos revela un artista ya plenamente consciente de su oficio, capaz de plasmar la emoción contenida con una elegancia sobria que anticipa la madurez de su estilo.
