It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

El meu nom és Jaume Cardona Casanova, tarragoní de naixement i vila-secà d'adopció. Descendent d'industrials d'El Pont d'Armentera, de carreters de Bràfim, de jornalers de Taberno i de La Unión i de pagesos de Castelserás.
De la collita del 75.
La meva relació amb el món de la fotografia va ser tardana, no així l'interès pels espais abandonats que va ser molt anterior. L'any 1994, quan tot just iniciava la meva activitat laboral al sector immobiliari, van arribar a les meves mans les claus d'un pis de la Rambla Nova de Tarragona que s'havia d'anar a valorar. Rambla Nova, 104, un tercer pis. El propietari havia mort feia uns anys i els descendents, que vivien tots lluny de Tarragona, ens les havien fet arribar perquè procedíssim a obrir aquella càpsula del temps.
I caram si ho era!
Recordo girar la clau, obrir la porta i aparèixer davant meu tot un petit univers domèstic sota un dit de pols i teranyines, quadres, multitud de quadres pintats per l'antic propietari, làmines, llapis i tot d'objectes personals de qui marxa de casa amb el convenciment que hi tornarà. Però el propietari no va tornar mai. I aquell últim cop de porta i aquell últim gir de clau van mantenir aquell petit univers inalterat, en silenci i criant pols dia rere dia al llarg d'un munt d'anys.
Aquell dia alguna cosa es va activar dintre meu, però van haver de ar uns quants anys fins que, a través de la fotografia, vaig entendre com interpretar-ho.
Avui en dia, continuo buscant de manera incansable aquestes càpsules inalterades, espais on no a res més que el temps.
