Lorenza Cavalli is a contemporary Italian artist. Figurative painting offered her the opportunity to play on the borderline between the material and immaterial dimensions. Already from the subject of these works her interest in the synergy between the known and the unknown arises, of which navigation becomes a symbol: an emblem of the human drive to strive for the absolute.

With abstract painting in which light is the absolute protagonist, she brings canvases where color and matter interact to capture the energy arising from the point of between tangible and intangible.

Her sculptures of marble and alabaster in combination with metals, where the transformation of salvaged objects becomes a means of revealing "other" dimensions underlying everyday life.

Lorenza Cavalli was born in Italy, where she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. She had numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Italy and abroad and her paintings are in the private collections in Italy, , Switzerland, Holland, Russia, United States, India, China, Brazil and the Arab Emirates.
