“Motus Mutationis”, il Moto del Cambiamento, è stata da me realizzata utilizzando i resti di un'antica ruota di legno risalente all’800, ho integrato elementi luminosi dipinti ad olio che ne percorrono la superficie.
È un'opera che celebra l’estetica del tempo, dove l’intervento di quest’ultimo crea strati consumati e fenditure profonde da cui emerge una luce dorata e potente, come un'energia vitale che rinasce dalla densità del proprio vissuto, dai suoi solchi e dalle sue sporgenze.
Nella volontà di dare nuova vita a cose abbandonate e che sembrano dimenticate, Il tempo è di fatto il primo ingrediente di realizzazione dell’opera.
Un omaggio alla capacità di sostare nella straordinarietà del presente, quale ponte sapiente fra ato e futuro, ma anche un invito a cogliere il valore intrinseco dell’imperfezione, componente essenziale dell’unicità e della vera perfezione, di quella bellezza capace di meravigliare.
Spero che possa ispirare chi la osserva, me compresa, a cogliere il valore del cambiamento e a trovare luce nelle proprie crepe.

Lorenza Cavalli is a contemporary Italian artist. Figurative painting offered her the opportunity to play on the borderline between the material and immaterial dimensions. Already from the subject of these works her interest in the synergy between the known and the unknown arises, of which navigation becomes a symbol: an emblem of the human drive to strive for the absolute.
