FLAGRANT DÉLIT (2016) Painting by Lydia Andre (POP ART LY)

Inspired in my childhood by a graphic and colorful universe, not a day goes by without me doodling or painting.
Fascinated by artistic expression since adolescence, I created my first portrait entitled “MACGYVER”, cover of Télé Star at the time.

This experience was the starting point of a ion that has never left me.
In 2013 I won the first painting prize organized by the city of Chauvigny and have been exhibiting my work since 2014.
The recognition of the public strengthened my determination and gave me the confidence to create more.

My work captivates the eye and the imagination.

The bold use of colors and a mastered technique are an invitation to dive into my unique artistic universe.  

I perfected my technique by taking drawing and painting classes, and then developed my true style: both graphic, multicolored and strongly influenced by comics, cartoons and super -hero.

Very inspired by street art, I mix elements of popular culture into my work, thus creating works that are both modern and imbued with a vintage spirit. 

As a lover of the art of the great masters, I offer my personal vision of these timeless works. I boldly revisit masterpieces of painting, infusing them with my unique touch and creating compositions that combine tradition and modernity. Each of my paintings is a visual journey, where creativity mixes with energy and artistic expression.

Through my work, I seek to arouse emotions, to revive childhood memories and transport the viewer into a world of dreams and wonder. 

I am called a true visual storyteller, I try to erase the boundaries between traditional and contemporary art.
