after the goldrush hopper no4 (2023) Digital Arts by Manfred Lieber

Ein weiteres Dokument aus der "After The Goldrush" - Serie. Zeitlich in der Mitte des vergangenen Jahrhunderts angesiedelt, interessierte mich hier wie denn Edward Hopper sich wohl damit auseinander gesetzt hätte – Hopper, weil ich seine Arbeiten sehr mag.
Mit den für mich inzwischen vertrauten digitalen Techniken entstanden:
"After The Goldrush / Hopper no 4"

Es wird zehn Exemplare dieser Arbeit geben, jeweils gedruckt als Giclee-Druck auf Hahnemühle German Etching Papier. Die Abmessungen des eigentlichen Kunstwerks sind 30 x 30 Zentimeter, aber es gibt einen Rand von fünf Zentimetern, so daß die komplette Arbeit 40 x 40 Zentmeter mißt. Es ist aber nicht ganz richtig hier von einer limitierten Auflage zu sprechen, den jedes Exemplar trägt außer der Signatur und der Nummerierung auch ein individuelles Kennzeichen (siehe Detailfoto), wodurch es auch ein wenig ein Unikat ist.
Dies ist auch der Grund für die möglicherweise längere Lieferzeit, weil jeder Druck "on demand" produziert wird.

Another document from the "After The Goldrush" series. Set in the middle of the last century, I was interested in how Edward Hopper would have dealt with it - Hopper, because I like his work very much.
Created using the digital techniques that I am now familiar with:
"After The Goldrush #3 / Hopper no 4"

There will be ten copies of this work, each printed as a giclee print on Hahnemühle German Etching paper. The dimensions of the actual work of art are 30 x 30 centimeters, but there is a border of five centimeters, so that the entire work measures 40 x 40 centimeters. However, it is not quite correct to speak of a limited edition here, as each copy bears not only the signature and number but also an individual marking (see detailed photo), which makes it a little bit unique.
This is also the reason for the possibly longer delivery time, because each print is produced "on demand".
