Myungsoo Yi is a contemporary artist based in South Korea, specializing in recreating virtual spaces on canvas inspired by her personal experiences and memories. Each layer of Hanji contributes to the texture, durability, and visual impact of the final piece, with the burning time determining the size of the paper holes and revealing glimpses of the underlying imagery.
