The "Musical Wave" installation is made of the keys of an antique 19th century piano. The keys are made of ivory. The close- up photo shows the state of these keys. The keys show a lot of wear, which indicates their venerable age. Now the only chance for them to find a new life is this installation. The key base is made of pine wood. LED lighting is also made from an old piano. The wood base of the hammer mechanism is used for this illumination. The light can be used for a 110 - 230 volt mains supply. Light reflects off the surface of the antique wood and illuminates the room with warm tones. The room becomes cozy and warm.
This installation was made in a single copy. These keys carry musical energy and part of our long history. Therefore, when purchasing this installation, you will keep this history. I believe that over time, these keys will only become more expensive. After all, now ivory is no longer used to make piano keys.
