Olesa Kot is a contemporary Russian sculptor, her artistic journey deeply rooted in her upbringing in St. Petersburg within the esteemed family of the Honored Glass Artist of the RSFSR, Kotova V.I. She honed her craft at the Leningrad Higher Art and Crafts Pedagogical University named after V. I. Mukhina, specializing in the glass department.
Operating from her personal studio, Kot actively participates in art exhibitions, showcasing her creations to captivated audiences. Her talent and dedication have been recognized through numerous personal exhibitions, including showcases at the Museum of Urban Sculpture and the Museum of Glass on Elagin Island in 2022. Notably, at the end of 2024, her solo exhibition will grace the prestigious halls of the Erarta Museum.
Kot's sculptures have found a permanent place in the collections of esteemed institutions such as the Russian Museum, where they stand as testaments to her artistic prowess. Additionally, her works adorn the open exhibitions of the Glass Museum and the Erarta Museum, enchanting visitors with their beauty and depth.
