In aufwendiger Schnitztechnik wurde die cloudige Oberfläche von Hand geschaffen und jede Erhöhung und Vertiefung ist so wie der Himmel einzigartig. In verschiedenen Schichten wurde reines Pigment in verschiedenen Blautönen eingebracht und immer wieder verharzt.
Durch diese speziell entwickelte Technik bekommt die Skulptur einen unglaubliche Tiefe und Leichtigkeit und wechselt ihre Erscheinung vom Himmel zum Wasser. Sie wirkt immer frisch, saftig und unglaublich interessant. Das Sonnenlicht verstärkt mit Reflexionen diesen besonderen Effekt.
Um den Schwebezustand auch in der Nacht zu erhalten wurde eine LED Beleuchtung integriert, die die Skulptur von der Wand abhebt.
