My ion for photography began at the age of 11, when I took my teachers with a stealthy camera (a Minox B). From 1970 to 1980, I was trained by JEAN THOMAS D'HOSTE, a professional based in Paris (near the Etoile) who ed on to me his ion for reporting and the black and white laboratory. After studying computer science in Dallas (U.S.A.) and 10 years at HONEYWELL BULL, I decided to practice photography part-time and then full-time in 2008.
I mainly practice black and white in the studio (nude, portrait, still life, etc.) and shooting in natural light indoors and outdoors. My most important stylistic influences: Man Ray, Edward Weston, André Kertesz, J.L. Sieff, Ralph Gibson, Sam Haskins, Mondrian.
