Romuald Cormier, born in 1988 in Nantes, , is a French artist specializing in graphite drawing on paper. From his childhood, he showed a remarkable talent for drawing, although he did not initially intend to pursue an artistic career. After enlisting in the French Army, he found himself at the age of 30 reevaluating his aspirations and his place in the world. It was at this time that he decided to reconnect with drawing, a ion that would eventually become his true vocation.

In search of improvement, Romuald first trained as an autodidact, before ing the online course of the Grand Central Atelier in New York, where he continued his artistic training from 2022 to 2024. Deeply influenced by the masters of neoclassicism such as Ingres, Amaury Duval, Hippolyte Flandrin, Jacques-Louis David, Bouguereau, Cabanel, and Delaroche, he sought to get closer to this aesthetic and the ideals it conveyed.

Romuald Cormier explores, through his work, a refined classical aesthetic, mixing technical precision and emotional depth. He aspires to perpetuate the legacy of the great masters while developing his own artistic voice. His works, marked by an attention to detail and great rigor, are now offered for sale, testifying to his ion and commitment to art.
