The Cosmic Dung Beetle is the closing piece of my cycle ‘Forces of Nature’ where giant animals shape and protect the natural world. This artwork contains references to ancient and esoteric symbolism but it also reveals that our destiny is closely linked to that of other life forms such as insects and their diversity.

Sailev is a contemporary award-winning French painter. Sailev finds inspiration in the surrounding nature and in human societies. His poetic yet provocative visions of the world are displayed in a dreamlike universe where he combines psychedelic constructions and the use of symbolism and humor to create several layers of interpretation to his works. 

Sailev promotes eco-art and socially engaged art through several groups and platforms. He is member of the international non-profit Artists For Conservation (AFC) that gathers artists from more than 30 countries who are committed to conservation. Sailev also contributes to the Millennium Alliance for Humanity and the Biosphere MAHB of Stanford University, the New-York based  Eco Art Project, and the American artist collective For Mother Nature. Each artwork is linked to a specific NGO and sales include a donation.

Sailev was born in 1982 in . He exhibited his works all across the world and won numerous awards.
