A spirit in perpetual learning, curious in many areas, Teddy Fontaine first learned oil painting as an autodidact while following a course at the Saint-Luc art school in Liège in Belgium, despite an industrial orientation training. Then it is towards the human sciences such as philosophy and psychology that he leaned after several difficult personal events that he went through. After training in Art Therapy, he perfected his outlook on life and evolved in his paintings, but it is finally in photography that his sensitivity and instinctive approach were revealed with a sense of framing and imagery probably stemming from his affinities with painting and his subjective perception of reality. In July 2024, one of his photos was selected for a group exhibition at the Abbey of Saint-Riquier on the theme of the landscapes of the Somme.
