It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Née le 18 mars 1943 avec une maladie cardiaque congénitale, son destin semblait tracé par les sombres prédictions des médecins. "Pas d'enfants", disaient-ils à ma grand-mère. "Pas de travail", ajoutaient-ils. "Pas de longue vie", concluaient-ils. Mais ils ne connaissaient pas la force indomptable qui habitait cette femme.
Contre toute attente, elle donna naissance à trois enfants, insufflant la vie là où on lui avait prédit le contraire. Loin de rester inactive, elle devint chef d'entreprise, fondant l’un des premiers SOS Médecins, un service qui a sauvé d'innombrables vies. Et quant à sa propre existence, elle la vécut pleinement pendant près de huit décennies, jusqu'à ce que le COVID l'emporte en 2022.
Cette œuvre photographique est bien plus qu'un simple hommage à ma mère. C'est un témoignage vibrant de la résilience humaine, un rappel poignant que la volonté peut triompher des pronostics les plus sombres. Dans ces temps troublés que nous traversons, son histoire résonne comme un message d'espoir.
Car au final, ce n'est pas le diagnostic qui définit une vie, mais la détermination à la vivre pleinement. Ma mère nous a montré que seule la volonté permet de surmonter les obstacles, aussi insurmontables puissent-ils paraître. Son legs est un appel à l'action pour chacun d'entre nous : osons rêver, osons défier, osons vivre.
