Der österreichische Künstler, Wolfgang Schrei (Wien, 1975), war schon immer kreativ, in jungen Jahren noch im Bereich der Fotografie, später dann in kleinerer Form auf Papier.
Bis schließlich 2020 die Corona Pandemie ins Land herein brach. Zeitbedingt entschloss sich Wolfgang Papier und Bleistift gegen Pinsel und Leinwand zu tauschen.
Angefangen mit kleineren Formaten bis hin zum Versuch mit großen Formaten entdeckte Wolfgang die Lust zum Malen!
Bis zum heutigen Tag ist dies noch immer die größte Leidenschaft des Künstlers - Gefühle, Emotionen oder Phantasien auf Leinwand auszudrücken.
Der genaue Stil dieses Künstlers ist etwas schwer zu beschreiben, je nach Lust, Laune oder Tagesverfassung und Inspiration, bringt Wolfgang Schrei das auf die Leinwand, was ihn eben genau in diesem Moment im Kopf herum geistert, man könnte also sagen, dieser Künstler ist sehr “stilfältig”
