Singular Among the Many (2025) Digital Arts by Yana Yevseieva
"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

The composition is designed to evoke movement, as though the figure is pushing through the crowd, defying the uniformity around them. The facelessness of the surrounding figures represents anonymity, conformity, and the way society often reduces people to silhouettes rather than individuals. Yet, the lone figure refuses to be invisible.
This piece is about identity, courage, and the struggle to maintain individuality in a world that often pushes people toward uniformity. The contrast between the central figure and the surrounding crowd represents the challenge of self-expression—of being different in an environment that favors sameness.
The yellow and red hues on the jacket symbolize ion, energy, and self-awareness. Yellow conveys intellect, optimism, and the pursuit of enlightenment, while red represents boldness, determination, and the willingness to face challenges head-on. Together, they form a powerful statement: to exist fully as oneself, even when surrounded by indifference.
The faceless crowd reflects how easy it is to become lost among others, to fade into the background. But small hints of color among them suggest that there are others who, in their own way, might also be breaking free from uniformity—they just haven't stepped forward yet.
This painting was inspired by moments in life when I’ve felt both lost in the crowd and defiantly separate from it. The faceless figures emerged naturally as I sketched the initial concept—an intuitive choice that reinforced the feeling of anonymity. As I worked on the composition, I realized that the play of light and shadow, the hints of color within the crowd, and the strong presence of the central figure created a narrative of self-discovery and resilience.
At its core, "Singular Among the Many" is about embracing what makes us unique, even when the world tries to blur us into the background. It’s about moving forward with confidence, knowing that true individuality is not about rejection of others, but about the strength to remain oneself despite the pressures of conformity.

A self-taught digital artist, Yana has developed a distinctive visual language that seamlessly blends cubist fragmentation, geometric abstraction, and psychological depth. Her digital portraiture explores the complexity of human experience through a boldly abstract approach. Yana's geometric compositions deconstruct facial features and figures into precise angular planes while maintaining emotional resonance. Her distinctive use of color—often contrasting warm amber and orange tones with cool teals and purples—creates visual tension that has become a signature element across her digital paintings.Recurring themes in Yana's digital art include the fragmentation of identity, perception through multiple perspectives, and the balance between geometric precision and emotional expression. Her abstract compositions frequently feature human figures and faces reconstructed through cubist fragmentation, creating works that invite viewers to reassemble meaning from carefully arranged geometric elements. In her architectural-themed digital works, Yana employs a similar abstract sensibility, creating compositions that explore the relationship between silhouetted figures and geometric environments. These works often feature reflective elements and dramatic lighting that suggest psychological states manifested in physical spaces.Yana's digital art practice complements her professional work as a designer-decorator. Her expertise in interior and textile design informs her artistic sensibility, allowing her to approach each environment as a holistic creative expression. Her design philosophy emphasizes harmony, personalization, and the transformative power of thoughtfully conceived spaces. As both a designer and digital artist, Yana brings a unique perspective to her creative practice, bridging the worlds of applied design and abstract artistic expression through a cohesive visual language.
