"L'Écho des Masques" (The Echo of Masks) (2025) Digital Arts by Yana Yevseieva
"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

In this work, I explored the multiplicity of contemporary female identity. Each face represents a different facet of human experience that coexists within all of us. The expressions vary subtly—some contemplative, others ionate, melancholic, or assertive—while maintaining an aesthetic coherence suggesting they belong to a unified whole.
The geometric technique I employed fragments the faces into distinct planes, creating tension between unity and division. This neo-cubist approach allows for simultaneous observation of multiple angles and emotions, as if we could see the inside and outside at the same time. The chromatic transitions—from flesh tones to vibrant reds and deep blues—symbolize the different emotional temperatures that inhabit us.
One can observe how light plays differently on each face, suggesting that our perception of ourselves and others constantly changes depending on context. The red lips contrast with the more subdued tones of the faces, like a focal point that reminds us of our need for expression amidst our multiple social personalities. This juxtaposition of rigid geometric elements and soft curves illustrates the duality between our social structure and emotional fluidity.

A self-taught digital artist, Yana has developed a distinctive visual language that seamlessly blends cubist fragmentation, geometric abstraction, and psychological depth. Her digital portraiture explores the complexity of human experience through a boldly abstract approach. Her distinctive use of color—often contrasting warm amber and orange tones with cool teals and purples—creates visual tension that has become a signature element across her digital paintings.Recurring themes in Yana's digital art include the fragmentation of identity, perception through multiple perspectives, and the balance between geometric precision and emotional expression. Her abstract compositions frequently feature human figures and faces reconstructed through cubist fragmentation, creating works that invite viewers to reassemble meaning from carefully arranged geometric elements. In her architectural-themed digital works, Yana employs a similar abstract sensibility, creating compositions that explore the relationship between silhouetted figures and geometric environments. These works often feature reflective elements and dramatic lighting that suggest psychological states manifested in physical spaces.Yana's digital art practice complements her professional work as a designer-decorator. Her expertise in interior and textile design informs her artistic sensibility, allowing her to approach each environment as a holistic creative expression. Her design philosophy emphasizes harmony, personalization, and the transformative power of thoughtfully conceived spaces. As both a designer and digital artist, Yana brings a unique perspective to her creative practice, bridging the worlds of applied design and abstract artistic expression through a cohesive visual language.
