Originaire de Makhatchkala en Russie et installée à Vence, Yana Murtazu explore le monde à travers l’aquarelle. Dès l’enfance, elle se ionne pour le dessin et suit une formation artistique qui lui permet de remporter plusieurs concours régionaux.
Après un parcours universitaire en biologie, son attachement à l’art demeure intact. Son installation en en 2011 marque un tournant décisif : elle choisit de se consacrer pleinement à la peinture et affine sa technique à Montpellier.
Depuis 2018, Vence est devenue son atelier à ciel ouvert. Inspirée par l’architecture et l’atmosphère des villes, elle capture, à travers l’aquarelle, la poésie des ruelles et l’âme des lieux.
Membre de l’IMAP depuis 2021, elle participe activement aux expositions locales et prépare actuellement sa propre exposition, où lumière et urbanisme se rencontrent dans un univers délicat et vibrant.
