This painting captures the warmth of a spring day on the river bank. The light dances on the grass, casting long shadows, and the distant hills are shrouded in a soft haze. The delicate brushstrokes and harmonious palette create an atmosphere of serenity and freshness, making it a pleasure to the eye. The impressionistic style conveys the ever-changing play of light and color, making the uniqueness of this moment in the morning a work of art. It was inspired by a return to a familiar place 15 years later - the banks of the Rhine. Although much has changed over the years, the essence of the landscape has remained the same: the gentle curves of the hills, the quiet river and old trees reaching for the sky. It is as if time has turned back, bringing back distant memories. Standing in the shadow of a tree, I looked across the water, just like 15 years ago, and picked up a brush to capture this moment, a beautiful meeting of the past and the present.

Igor received a higher art education in Ukraine in the city of Kharkov, where he successfully completed courses in painting, graphics, composition and design.  He worked all the time as an artist-designer.   He was mainly engaged in object design, sculpture and decorative metal casting, as well as painting. His design works and paintings are in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, in the United Arab Emirates. 

After moving to Denmark in 2022, he continued to paint.  Here are presented for you paintings of those places in different countries that resonated in the artist’s soul.
